WHAT FLIPS YOUR LEVERS?

We all have levers too – levers that connect to deep needs – the need for safety and security, food, water and shelter, social belonging, self-esteem and freedom. God wants to be the one it all stems from; the one we turn to for everything and the one controlling the levers.

Biblical stewardship and giving is really about who’s holding those levers. It’s easy to grip our own resources tightly out of fear, but Scripture calls us to trust that everything we have is on loan from God, meant to be managed well rather than held onto out of fear.

What about missions outreach and compassion? What’s your lever for that?
