PASTORS GATHER ON GBC’S CAMPUS

Central India – Earlier this month, over 40 pastors and Christian leaders gathered on Grace Bible College’s campus for a day of prayer, meetings and fellowship. Hosted by Indigenous Ministries and GBC, this gathering marked a return of IMI’s pastors’ conferences for these front-line, faithful workers. With a strong political shift throughout India against religious minorities including Christians, pastors and church leaders are facing a critical need for encouragement.

Christian persecution in India has intensified in recent years, with pastors and their congregations increasingly facing hostility, legal pressure, and social exclusion simply for their faith. Gatherings like this one give these front-line workers a rare chance to be refreshed together, to pray as one body, and to remember they are not standing alone in the face of growing opposition.

Your prayers and support for Indigenous Ministries enable us to stand with these pastors and ministries. Each year, our GBC graduates going into full-time ministry represent the next generation staking its claim of faith to reach this great nation for Christ, even as Christian persecution in India continues to shape the landscape they’ll serve in. These young men and women choose to enter ministry knowing the cost may be real, yet they go forward anyway, trusting God with the outcome.
