Christmas Programs in Iraq!

This December, thousands of children experienced joyful Christmas programs in Iraq as our Indigenous Ministries teams presented programs and gifts across Baghdad and five areas in Kurdistan.

For some children, it was the very first time they had ever heard the name “Jesus,” learned who He was, and listened to the story of His birth. Our teams brought the good news with love, laughter, and Christmas celebration.

In many areas, the welcome was warm and appreciative. In others, however, our staff faced harassment and threats. Yet in every single location, the children received a special Christmas gift and heard why Jesus came.

These children will never forget the fun, the presents, and the love they experienced. Thank you to our sponsors and donors whose generosity made this possible. You gave children across Iraq a Christmas they will always remember.
