COVID-19’S IMPACT ON REFUGEES IN N. IRAQ

On June 15, the girls’ (top) father came to our office and began crying as he gently asked… ”please, please take my children into your program.  We have nothing, I need food to give my family.”  Every week our office in Erbil, Kurdistan, receives dozens of phone calls and visits like this.  With no jobs and an economic shutdown the affects of COVID-19 are devastating to refugees.
