GBC ALUMNI CONTINUE TO IMPACT LIVES WITH THE GOOD NEWS

While in India this month, I had the opportunity to sit with several of our alumni in Mumbai and other areas in Maharashtra listening as they shared ministry in the context of COVID’s shadow and the incredible need for the good news. Once my former student at Grace Bible College, Rev. Sagar Gaikwad and I stood together as he translated my chapel messages and sermons. He serves in Eastern Maharashtra translating the Jesus Film into tribal languages. His wife graduated from GBC this year and will serve with her husband in ministry among their own tribal group and others in the area.

Hours before Dee and I exited the country through Mumbai, we met with two more GBC graduates, both former students of mine. They had traveled two hours to meet with us and it was a special privilege and joy to hear about their growing families and the multiple churches they are each pastoring; the growth and challenges they face. We prayed together for their respective ministries and good news outreach within the country. – John W. Cook, CEO

India has a population of 1.386 billion people, 2,363 people groups, and of these people groups, 2,126, or, 90% of the people groups in India are still unreached with the good news.* The need is very great indeed.
