The bathroom building on the GBC campus received tile flooring to take the daily foot pounding of the 50+ boys. Thanks to the good work of the installers, the boys have firmer footing and as they splash, the floors can take it now! Through your giving, we now have a completed bathroom block with resistance to wear and tear that will last many years.
Next steps: Please be in prayer for the needed GBC library and classrooms which we posted in the last edition of The Liaison. We are asking the Lord for 75 people to stand with us for $1,000 each to make this happen. This will give us four classrooms, each 20’ x 15’, a 30’ x 50’ library with study hall which will be home to the over 18,000+ books in California waiting to be shipped over. (Shipping costs also needed: $8,000).
Great Fall Harvest giving project – your church, small group or family can get in on the ground floor of helping to build this GBC library and classroom building.
Librarians and book sorters – We are in need of librarians to organize and direct a team to sort and catalogue the books preparing them for use. If you want to help with this effort and travel to India, read on:
Travel and ministry opportunity – Travel to India with us for this short term missions trip and spend 10 days sorting and cataloguing the GBC library books in India. You will also have the opportunity to interact with the faculty, staff and students at GBC and the children in our Children’s Home.
Dates: February 2-17, 2016; Cost: $3,200 (includes flights, hotels and food; +$250 for tour to the Kahna Tiger Preserve). Please note that the dates are dependent on funding raised to build the library. Email us at info@IndigenousMinistries.org if this is how you would like to begin a new chapter in your life.
Value/Benefit: Your donation will help put this library together for young men and women who are committed to winning India to Jesus Christ and turning this country towards the one true and living God. As a librarian or book sorter, this opportunity is truly unprecedented in its nature and future ramifications.
