GBC Alumni Ministers as a Storyteller Consultant

The Grace Bible College impact has deeply shaped my life’s journey, and I want to express my gratitude to God for it. As an alum of GBC, I am grateful for all He has done in and through this place. My name is Sagar, a 2006 graduate of GBC. Following my salvation in 2003, I felt a call to ministry but lacked direction. It was during a conversation with my friend, Pankaj Salve, that I share day desire to serve God. He recommended pursuing biblical training at GBC, where he was also studying.

Under the guidance of Principal Rev. Pramod, I enrolled in the B.Th program, which proved transformative over the entire three years of study. GBC not only deepened my understanding of Scripture but also nurtured my spirituality, character and ministerial abilities. It equipped me with essential qualities like empathy, compassion, honesty and determination to serve God wholeheartedly. Looking back, I can clearly see the Grace Bible College impact not only in my personal growth but also in how I relate to others and serve unreached communities. Moreover, GBC instilled in me a sense of peace to navigate life’s challenges.

Following graduation, I began my ministry journey as an assistant pastor, eventually transitioning to helping churches. In 2011, I felt a unique calling to orality ministry, focusing on tribal communities. Through storytelling we’ve created resources such as Bible stories and songs in indigenous languages, training leaders from unreached tribes and establishing house churches.

Currently, I serve as a story consultant across multiple states, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of oral narratives in our ministry. Meanwhile, my wife, Sakshi also a GBC alum, works with an NGO dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating minor girls victimized by sex trafficking. I am deeply thankful for GBC’s role in shaping my journey and ministry. I pray for continued blessings on this school, that it may continue to glorify God through its work.

As Sagar and Sakshi shared with our US guests the ministries above they are engaged in; I was once again so blessed and inspired. The effectiveness of Sagar and his team members as well as Sakshi and her team members is significant and sustainable. Sagar and Sakshi’s lives are powerful examples of the Grace Bible College impact, multiplied through faithful service and dedication. Help me and Principal Pramod as we continue to train Indian youth preparing them for a lifetime of Christian ministry.
