He is Risen!

“On the first day of the week,

very early in the morning, the women…

found the stone rolled away from the tomb,

but when they entered,

they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

While they were wondering about this,

suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them…

“Why do you look for the living among the dead?

He is not here,

he has risen!

 Luke 24:1-8 NIV

This is the very essence of who we are as Christians, as Christ-followers; the Creator of the universe sent his own son for my sins, for yours. He suffered an unspeakably horrific death. Yet it was all to satisfy his own judgement, his own holiness, his requirement for sin’s atonement. All so that we can have a relationship with him and be in his presence for eternity.

In every place we minister around the world, we reach out with this message of great love and redemption through our teams who have been personally transformed by this love just as we have been. Jesus’ words still speak to us through the Bible. It took looking into an empty tomb for the women to remember Jesus’ words, which finally made sense to them.  What about you? Have you read the Bible for years and yet never took it for yourself?  God is reaching out to you today, my friend.

This Easter, may you find a renewing season in your faith journey as a Believer!  If, however, you have not accepted what he did for your sins on the cross, today would be a perfect day to do so.  Simply confess your sins, accept what he did for you on the cross and ask him to be your Savior.  May the Lord bless you.  If you’ve made that decision, please reach out to your pastoral team or to us, we’d love to encourage you in your new faith!  He is risen indeed!
