INDIA’S UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS: INDIGENOUS MINISTRIES ROLE IN ADDRESSING THE NEED
Meet GBC student Samuel Bohein from Myanmar: My Testimony: I am from Myanmar. I was born in 1993 and I have two elder brothers, a sister; I am the youngest son of my family. Even though I was born in Christian background and community I did not understand the gift of Salvation. One day there was great Crusade in our village, conducted by an evangelist who was a man of God, by hearing his message about Salvation, I was so blessed that the Love of God touched my heart and I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. I did not understand what to do. My brother suggested me about Grace Bible College I decided to study the Word of God. The Lord answered my humble prayer and opened the door for me to study his precious word at Grace Bible College. My favorite Bible Verse is Paul’s letter to Philippians 4:4. Things I Like: music, football, singing, reading books.
During lockdown COVID-19, I did not go back to our place in Myanmar, instead I stayed in Grace Bible College. COVID has not affected me and my family also. During COVID I was studying in the GBC library and read many books, specially, Purpose Driven Life and the Moody Handbook; they have encouraged me through my daily life and benefit for my future. The College has taken good care of me, protected me during this pandemic. I thank God for his provision for me in this difficult time.
Future Plan: I am in my final year at GBC studying for my B. Th (Bachelor in Theology). After completing my studies at GBC, I will serve the Lord as missionary to my own people in Myanmar. As I am studying at GBC, my faculty encourages me and supports me to acquire wisdom and knowledge for my future ministry.
