       Investing in Middle East Pastors

OFTEN MISSIONS DOLLARS are divided up and spread thinly in our communities and overseas. Investing in frontline leaders multiplies these same dollars. Indigenous Ministries’ annual Middle East Pastors and Church Leaders Conference is a missions dollars multiplier.

The pressure on pastors in the Middle East region is relentless, coming from many directions. Sadly, every year, some pastors throw in the towel—discouraged, exhausted, and broken. Yet each year, we also witness God heal, restore, and encourage national pastors through our conferences.

Like the tiny mustard seed, God uses national pastors—one at a time—to multiply His Word into the hearts and lives of their own people in this region. We’ve seen this truth unfold year after year since 2004.

Middle East Pastors Conference in Egypt

This year’s conference will take place during the second week of October in Alexandria, Egypt. We are excited to host around 80 local pastors once again in this beautiful country. But we need your help.

Speakers will include Pastor Jeremy Cook from Concord, CA, Dr. Craig Miller, Reda Khalil, Dee A. Cook (IMI US staff), and Pastor Magdi Benyamin (IMI Egypt Sr. staff). The theme, drawn from the book of Matthew, is “Jesus the King.” Each pastor will receive translated notes from every session to use in their churches. Additionally, we’ll provide them with a translated copy of Warren Wiersbe’s Be Loyal (Matthew).

We also plan to spend time with our Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) children in Alexandria, Cairo, and Minya. They are working hard to prepare special presentations we look forward to seeing. Dee will also host two women’s meetings, ministering to pastors’ wives and mothers of children in our CSP.
