HELPING THE MOST VULNERABLE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Indigenous Ministries is in full swing. While our focus in ministry is overseas, we know that many of our friends and partners here in the US may be struggling during this time. No one is left untouched in one way or another. In a sense we are brought together through this virus in a way none of us imagined.
Indigenous Ministries teams in India, Egypt, Iraq and the Philippines are committed to safety, health and spiritual leadership within their families, churches and communities. Through COVID-19, they are ministering daily via the phone, broadcasting church services on the internet and delivering food to those in need.
The URGENT need we’re faced with right now is to get food ASAP to the most vulnerable beginning with refugees in Iraq and then many in Egypt.
Please consider a generous donation to help these families who have no food. Donate on the right to the “Rapid Response Fund.”
$50 will feed a family with basics of rice, flour, sugar, oil, canned foods, household cleaners, etc. Thank you and God bless you.
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge…” Psalm 18:2
INDIGENOUS MINISTRIES COVID19 UPDATE
With the COVID19 crisis in full swing globally, we want to share a COVID19 update. First, we want to thank you for your prayers, concern and financial support during this crisis, as so many of you are reaching out to us!! We pray you too are well. This is an opportunity for us to respond with compassion in Jesus’ name to the sick, frightened and lonely. By the way, below this update, we are sharing a special opportunity with you to help refugees in dire need.
Welcome! If you are new to our website, we’re so glad you stopped by. We’re about ready to launch our new website, meanwhile, we hope you’ll look around and get to know us!
COLORADO SPRINGS OFFICE: We are open for business with much of the work happening at home, however, the office and mail are being monitored closely. How to contact us: email [email protected], call the office in Colorado at 719-302-3028, or 719-237-5535.
We are taking every precaution to keep our staff here in the US and overseas safe and healthy.
MINISTRY CONTINUES: Thankfully, Indigenous Ministries is equipped for crisis, any crisis – in a way it defines our ministry! Our work overseas continues NO MATTER the ability for US staff to travel. ALL OF IM’s teams overseas are all nationals minsitering to their own people. That means ministry is continuing and new ministry has opened up through the COVID19 crisis.
Indigenous Ministries overseas staff are trained and experienced in crisis situations.
IM’s overseas teams are sheltering in place most of the time just like we all are, and because they are in leadership, they are in the perfect places to respond to those in their care in churches and their communities. The work continues. Food is still being distributed. Spiritually they are using online tools: Viber, chats, emails and texts to connect, pray and worship together.
SPONSOR A CHILD ministry continues in Iraq, Egypt and the Philippines, as do the churches, Grace Bible College and aid to needy.
RESPONDING TO THE GOSPEL: In Iraq, Mus&lim*s are responding more than ever to the Gospel. In Egypt, our teams share that many have open hearts to the gospel because of the ongoing relationships the teams have built through the years.
RESPONDING TO THE MOST NEEDY: The economic disaster wave has already hit many refugees in the Middle East who have absolutely no safety net. So far we have been able to continue sending the food and help we’ve promised to the children and families in our program because of the faithful partnership of our sponsors and donors. Thank you!! We pray you can continue to send your support because it really does matter!! God is using your help and faithfulness right now!
OPPORTUNITY TO HELP REFUGEES: We are asking for $15,000 to help refugee families in dire need. Perhaps you feel led that now is a time to remember those worse off. Please join us. If you cannot help, would you please pray with us for those in need?
Refugee families are in dire need of food and need immediate assistance. We are preparing to respond with food packets through our local teams who know the individual family situations in areas near Mosul and in Baghdad. These families have no safety net and are pleading for help.
Your help with $15,000 will go to help these refugee families right now. Will you help us? Thank you so much.

Indigenous Ministries brings Christ’s message of love and redemption by training and partnering with national pastors and local leaders. This is the message of hope found throughout the Bible and is, indeed, our foundation.
By stepping “Beyond the Map” into difficult access countries, we engage with what God the Holy Spirit is doing in redeeming people to Himself who otherwise might not have the opportunity to respond to God’s love.
