PHILIPPINES: FOUR STUDENTS TAKE A STEP OF FAITH
Philippines – Resty and Mel Enguerra minister with local teams in the Philippines with youth, training, medical, church planting and prison ministry.
The months of July and August are the months for college enrollment. We have accepted four (4) new students this school year. Here’s the profile of the new IM educational Support Recipients:
Abel Duano from the Dumagat tribe in Tanay, Rizal. He is pursuing to be a pastor and is currently enrolled at Paul College of Leadership in Cainta, Rizal. He is involved in youth bible study and leadership programs and participates in church outreach ministries.
Jenelyn Juco is also from a tribal group in the Dumagat community in Tanay Rizal. She is pursuing Business Management at Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College.
Bernadette Concepcion is from a tribal community in Quezon province. She is pursuing Information Technology at Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Noby De La Cruz is from the Dumagat tribe. He is finishing up his high school this year and desires to be a Pastor. He will be joining Abel and another one of our youth in training, JR Cabasag at Paul College of Leadership next year.
All four of these young people committed themselves by following the Lord through water baptism a couple of months ago. Would you please pray for these four in their spiritual growth and studies?
Another request: Would you pray with us for a permanent house of worship in the Dumagat community where these young people are from? Each year they repair their worship structure after the typhoons. Giving opportunity to complete this project: $7,000. To donate to this project, mark your check “PI Dumagat church building.” Thank you.
