YEAR END GREATEST NEED FUNDRAISER & PREPARING FOR 2022
The battle is raging for souls; we see it in our own communities here in the US, but world-wide, spiritual tug of war has seemingly reached epic proportions. The need for Bible-centered churches, discipleship of new and existing believers, leadership training and effective youth outreach has never been more clear.
God has put IMI teams on the front line, or, the tip of the spear, if you will, for such a time as this. On page Persecution Grows in India & the Middle East, you’ll find an update on what persecution for Christians looks like in most of the areas IMI works in. And while daily life in many of these areas is a constant struggle, the real battle is not for economic strength, religious freedom, safety, and less corrupt leaders, but for the souls of families. These lives are at the heart of IMI’s ministry and focus.
As we look at finishing 2021 well, we also ask God for fruitful ministry in 2022 with a passion for people to hear the gospel and have the opportunity to receive eternal life and grow in faith.
From now through the end of 2021, we are engaged in our annual Year End Greatest Need Fundraiser. This is a faith-giving fundraiser which, quite simply, helps get us to the end of the year financially and plan for additional ministry in 2022. IMI does not have a “larger” umbrella ministry, we are entirely dependent on individuals, churches, businesses and grants the Lord brings to fund this work.
The effects of COVID continue to impact communities and the Church around the world with illnesses, deaths and severe economic impact. But COVID also continues to give our teams opportunities to help the hurting, the needy, widows and orphans.
Never before have the doors been more open for us after years of groundwork, networking and building relationships. We partner with nationals who face enormous challenges and persecution as they share the gospel in majority religions and cultures (see page 3 for more details).
As we look at the closing of this year and all the challenges that we all have faced personally and as a ministry, God has been so good. So many have stood with us in prayers and gifts – we couldn’t have seen anything accomplished without you! Thank you! To God be the glory!
This year we’ve seen more people trust Christ through our frontline national teams of pastors, teachers, trainers, staff and translators. They are truly the heroes and we thank God for each and everyone. I am humbled to see God’s blessing in 2021. Now I’m asking God for an even more fruitful ministry year in 2022. More souls saved, more children and families healed, more pastors trained and encouraged. Would you step with me prayerfully into IMI’s exciting next steps?
I am asking for your help. Would you help us reach more souls with the gospel in 2022? Your give a gift of $25, $100, $250 or $1000 whatever amount the Lord is laying on your heart matters. Maybe you can commit to giving monthly in 2022. Some are able to give $10, others $10,000; give as you feel led as a great help to further God’s Kingdom, making it possible for more to hear the gospel in difficult-access regions. Please join me and give as generously a gift as you can to the Year End Greatest Need Fund!
This Thanksgiving, Dee and I together with all our teams overseas thank God for you and your heart for reaching nationals through nationals with the gospel.
To donate, please fill out the form on page four and mail it with your check in the enclosed envelope, or go online at indigenousministries.org. Thank you very much and may the Lord bless you.
